Welcome to Transform the first issue of RTC’s new newsletter!
In Transform we will be talking about our current projects throughout the world, as well as our journey in developing new areas of work. We will also use this opportunity to highlight the activities of our partners and alumni, who themselves are working tirelessly to build peace in their own communities.
In this first issue we discuss our recent experiences in Liberia working to build the capacity of local people to reconcile their differences and prevent further conflict. We also share the stories of two peacebuilders from the recent Chevening course - Stephen Kirimi Mwamba from Kenya and Saeed Mohamoud from Somaliland - who each play an important role in forming peace in their own communities. You can learn more about the work we are developing with young people in Kenya and former child soldiers in Nepal, and how you can help to support us in both this and our other work.
