Today, and every day, we celebrate, support and work alongside all those (mostly) unknown people, all over the world, who are living and working in situations of open and structural violence, and whose quest is peace with justice.
These are the people who have a vision of a future where each person has the possibility of reaching their full human potential; a world where children can grow to adulthood in security and with hope; where difference is celebrated and seen as a resource for a full life; and where people can rejoice in being fully human, fully alive.
We salute you, we honour you, and we remember you in your courage and conviction. We strive with you that we may all have Peace one day.
