Center for Inter Ethnic Cooperation/ Moscow
This one year programme was funded by the Department for International Development (through the British Council). The aim of the programme was to improve relations between ethnic minority groups and the Administration in some of Russia's most volatile cities. RTC facilitated two workshops for minority group leaders and a visit to the UK by civic leaders to explore the UK approach to inter-ethnic relations.
SOS Sahel/ International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED)/ West Africa
RTC carried out a needs assessment which involved visiting NGO's in Mali, Niger and Senegal and making recommendations for strengthening the conflict management capacity of local institutions dealing with land and natural resource based conflict.
